Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. $ROOM is a utility token used to pay for and be paid for bandwidth on Headroom. It is not a security, a share, a deposit or a claim on any revenue.

Crypto tokens are volatile and can lose all of their value. Only use money you can afford to lose, and do your own research before you buy anything.

Today this site is a pre-launch preview. The pull demo and the receipts are simulated on a demo mesh: no file is downloaded and no line is actually used. The earnings calculator, the rate card and the 90 / 5 / 5 split are a proposal, not a running market.

Earnings figures come from a calculator. They depend on the inputs you choose and on how much the network has to deliver. They are not a forecast and not a promise of income. Electricity, hardware wear and taxes are your responsibility.

If you lend a connection, you let a network send public files over your upload. You are responsible for your connection and for complying with the laws that apply where you live.

Many internet providers cap data or forbid resale of bandwidth on residential plans. Read your provider's terms before you lend anything. Headroom is not a proxy or a VPN: it does not route anyone's browsing through your IP address.

The line measurement sends a few test transfers between your browser and this site to time them, and keeps the result in your browser's local storage. Nothing else about your device or connection leaves the tab.

Headroom is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the team is not liable for losses that come from using the site, the network or the token.
